Many scholars have studied the subject of the narrations of the Prophetic tradition but have not dealt with its impact on historical, educational, social and economic books and how they have not studied the melted society in such a way that its sources are coherent and include all aspects.

This scholar has tried to express this influence by choosing the narrations of the biography quoted by the Imam and historian Ibn Abi al-Dunya in his books, and to explain how Ibn Abi al-Dunya narrated the narrations of the Prophetic biography in the face of the problems that befell him. Has investigated especially the problems of the third century AH; Whether educational, social or economic problems.

This researcher has used the method of descriptive-analytical research and has been satisfied with the narrations of Ibn Abi Al-Dunya and among these narrations he has mentioned only the narrations of the Prophetic tradition and among these narrations, he has mentioned only the narrations of the Prophetic tradition. The method of descriptive-analytical research is a general method, but the researcher has used a special method in some chapters of the dissertation.

For example, in the second chapter, all the historians from whom Ibn Abi Al-Dunya narrated his narrations are mentioned and it is enough to mention a few of them.As for the historians who have quoted Ibn Abi al-Dunya, he is content with Khatib al-Baghdadi. The method of research for this chapter has been to follow the narrators historically. But the research method of the third chapter is a subject that has been done by mentioning the narrations and reflecting the historical events on it and how Ibn Abi Al-Dunya has dealt with it.

The researcher has reached conclusions, the most important of which are:

  1. The narrations of the Prophetic tradition narrated by Ibn Abi Al-Dunya are more educational and its purpose is to reform the society and the changes that have taken place in it.
  2. The narrations of the Prophetic tradition have an important effect on historical studies and historians and scholars have mentioned it in their scientific writings to learn from it, because the Prophetic tradition is a practical implementation of the Book of God and suitable for any time.
  3. The prophecies of the Prophetic tradition explain that man can overcome poverty by working and eliminating unemployment.
  4. Prophetic narrations are important in building a society that is confused with the sublime concepts and moral principles of Islam.
  5. The principles of the Prophetic tradition and instructions related to the economic aspect, worthy of contemplation and study.
