Islamic architecture is an expression of Islamic art that bridges the boundary between art and spirituality and divine teachings of Islam in the form of architectural art. In this regard, the mosque architecture is the culmination of the convergence of artistic and monotheistic spirituality of Islam, one of the lesser masterpieces of Islamic architecture and architecture. The Cordoba Mosque is part of the Islamic civilization of Andalusia, which witnessed the progress of Islamic architecture for about eight centuries in the Spanish Islamic Basin.
The comprehensive mosque in Cordoba has enchanting features in Islamic art and architecture. And when we look at the elements of the aesthetic and the aesthetic, we are dealing with a world of special artistic features. In this study, we studied the component of light and color in the mosque of Cordoba. Considering the importance of the dome and the main sanctuary in the second sentence, we emphasized it.
The research methodology has been used in analyzing the scope of the subject based on the verdict and aesthetics of light and color, and the descriptive method has been used to investigate the dimensions of the architecture of the mosque of Cordoba.
In the study of the comprehensive mosque of Cordoba in terms of the decree and the aesthetics of light and color, when we look at the interior of the mosque of Cordoba, we see the intersection of the profound knowledge of the verdict rooted in genuine Islamic sources with the principles of Islamic art and architecture, and the use of verses The Quran in the inscriptions around the altar, which depicts the profound Qur’anic meanings, and the use of vegetarian and slave designs inspired by the Qur’anic descriptions of Paradise and Ferdowsi Byrne and the use of golden colors and figurative symbols on a colorful background that symbolizes its particular meaning and authenticity and Its aesthetic has its own, and the glow and reflection of light on space The interior of the mosque, especially the altar and dome, has created a fantasy world combined with the Qur’anic meanings of light and color, which flies the imaginary chick of the person who has been present in the mosque and drowns in a world of spirituality, and unconsciously feels the presence and veracity of the verdict And the ultimate beauty of Islamic art and architecture, which creates the presence of a sense of divine spirituality, is revealed to us.
