The term al-Khattab is one of the modern terms that have entered the world of Arabic critical studies, due to the multiplicity of schools and trends in modern linguistic studies, the concepts and meanings of this term have varied. Undoubtedly, there is a close relationship between the quality of the poetic discourse and the multiple grammatical styles used by the poet, and these styles have multiple purposes that extend from the context of speech. The Iraqi poet Shaker Al-Ghazi left a poetic work that reveals a creative faculty possessing good potentials in forming
language and grammatical structures. This poet is one of the most greatest Iraqi poets, who have enriched the literary and cultural arena with more of his contributions in the contemporary poetic field.
This research aims to study the grammatical methods and their aesthetics in Shakir al-Ghazi’s poetry. The researcher tries to focus on the grammatical characteristics and how they are presented and analyzed. Among the findings of this study are: the appeal style, the present noun sentence, the affirmation of verbs with heavy affirmation of Nun, the oath, and the presentation of what is due to the delay of the most common styles in Shakir Ghazi’s poetry. The descriptive-analytical approach is the theatrical approach to be applied in this study as an attempt to investigate Shakir Al-Ghazzi’s approach in the analysis of poetic discourse.
