Holy Quran, the ascension of the Prophet is explicitly stated and several narrations from the infallible Imams have been quoted in this regard. In the  Zarathustr”s texts the ascension of Zarathustra, Ardaviraf, Cartier and etc are mentioned.

Some of the subjects, that are discussed in the Islamic texts about Prophet’s ascension Islam these are:

Hell and wicked women, meeting angels, heaven, praying to God, crossing the seas of light and darkness and seas of snow and ice, observing the souls of the prophets and so on.

In Zoroastrian texts discussed the following topics:

Hell and scenes of prostitutes, dialogue with Amshaspandan, Paradise, meet and talk with Ahoramazda.

Crossing  from a furnace or a mountain of fire, Pouring molten zinc on the chest and tearing the abdomen with a knife and the spirit world.

In Zoroastrian texts, the ascension of several people and their states are mentioned, while in Islam, ascension is one of the characteristics of the Prophet and there is no mention of ascension in the case of prominent people such as the infallible Imams.

The subject of the ascension of Zarathustra is the prediction of the future and finding the truth of things, and the subject of the ascension of Ardaviraf is the observation of heaven and hell and the description of the reward of heaven and punishment of hell. The Ascension of Carter is the most complete example of Ascension after Ardaviraf.

In Cartier’s inscription, it is stated that Cartier’s double goes to Ascension and in Ardaviraf’s book,  Ardaviraf’ soul  goes Ascension.

According to verses and traditions, the ascension of the Prophet   was physical and spiritual, but in the religion of Zoroaster, people for whom have been claimed of ascension to the spiritual worlds have taken this path in the world of dreams.

The number of the Prophet’s ascents is stated in various traditions, but in the religion of Zoroaster, one journey is mentioned for people who have gone on this spiritual journey.

Shiite commentators and scholars believe in the Prophet’s ascension toke place in awakening state. But ascension in Zoroastrianism is a kind of mystical intuition and dream.
