There is no doubt that Islam is a religion of interaction, peace and dialogue, and it is obvious that interaction and dialogue among different religions and beliefs are impossible due to the many obstacles in various dimensions of life, especially in the biosocial dimension. By obstacles in biosocial dimension, we mean the principles, rules and regulations that exist in the three areas of worship, transactions (including ‘uqud and iqa’at), and politics.

On the other hand, in terms of citizenship rights, this group of citizens is sometimes seen as second-class citizens, and some of the Ahkams against them are a kind of unfair discrimination in the field of citizenship. Among these rights is the issue of the ransome of the People of the Book, which according to the famous jurists is less than one tenth of the ransome of a Muslim. Also, the influence of the ‘uqud and iqaat of the People of the Book is one of these challenges.

Also, the issue of granting social and governmental positions is one of the important social challenges between Muslim citizens and the People of the Book. This kind of discrimination, if it is without solid and rational foundations, sometimes causes serious problems for the coexistence of religious people with each other, and as a result, deprives them of the correct understanding of each other’s beliefs and thoughts.

In this regard, there are jurisprudential capacities and rules and principles of jurisprudence that can be used to provide solutions to these problems, including review and revision of jurisprudential or interpretational perceptions of the arguments of many Ahkams as well as more detailed discussions of some jurisprudential rules, which, as a result, open a new window on interaction with religious people, especially the People of the Book in various fields towards individuals and Islamic government.

Therefore, the forthcoming dissertation has been compiled with this aim, especially to present a new solution with jurisprudential principles to the Islamic rule and holy system with the aim of untying some of the existing challenges with the subject: “Shiite jurisprudential capacities and the issue of interaction with the People of the Book”.
