With the continued mismanagement of countries and the spread of corruption, bribery, unemployment and market depression, the phenomenon of poverty emerged to pose a moral challenge that requires study and research.

The study dealt with the extrapolation of the Qur’anic verses that talk about the phenomenon of poverty and using the opinions of the two groups, it searches for the causes and factors that contribute to the emergence and prevalence of the phenomenon of poverty from the aspects: moral and psychological, religious and ideological, material, ideological, cognitive.

The importance of this topic lies in the study of the phenomenon of poverty through the Quranic vision and the verses that talk about this topic and its link to people’s lives and the dangers it poses to the unity and cohesion of society.

The study aimed to highlight the concepts included in the Qur’anic verses that developed successful solutions in the prevention and treatment of the phenomenon of poverty through several concepts, in addition to clarifying the causes and negative effects of poverty and emphasizing several things aimed at avoiding them.

What is new in the study is the Qur’anic research into the main causes that lead to the development and spread of the phenomenon of poverty, a detailed discussion of the Qur’anic verses that mentioned the appropriate treatment for the problem of poverty and its reduction, and an adequate reference to the psychological effects that poverty has on the behavior of the individual and his interactions with society and the development of appropriate and sufficient solutions to reduce it. From him and treatment of this dangerous phenomenon on society and the individual alike.

. It is proven that in the Qur’an there are voluntary, legitimate rights to money that have contributed to solving the problem of poverty, which are alms, gifts, sponsorship by the rich for poor relatives, and sponsoring orphans.

. It has become clear to us that Islam is an indivisible whole, and that the Qur’an includes the treatment of all problems, no matter how many names, forms, times and places.

. The just Islamic state has a key role in addressing the phenomenon of poverty.

. Paying attention to education and providing job opportunities in a fair manner for all members of society.

. Provide psychological, social and economic studies to diagnose the main causes behind the phenomenon of poverty in order to provide solutions to them.

. Combined efforts and collective action by all religious and academic institutions to address the phenomenon of poverty.
