From the beginning of Islam until now, there have been different views on the debate with the opposing beliefs, most of which have accepted the principle of the debate and considered it effective in bringing religions closer together. For example, the Imams (as) as leaders of the Shiite religion have always had debates and conversations with followers of different religions throughout their lives, the explanation of which can be a comprehensive model for Muslims and the view of Islam in this regard. Introduce the world.

It is very important to study the methods of the Imams (as) in these debates and their role in bringing the Islamic religions closer together. Therefore, the present treatise has examined this issue with a descriptive-analytical approach in 3 chapters, in the first chapter it deals with generalities and concepts, in the second chapter the Qur’anic methods of theological debates and protests of the Imams (PBUH) with opponents and In the third chapter, the attention to moral and educational matters in the theological debates and protests of the Imams (pbuh) with the opposition has been examined and finally it has been concluded that the pure Imams (pbuh) are inspired by the verses of the Holy Quran and benefit Understanding the logic of debate, including considering the character and scientific and social status of the other party, invites everyone to have the right ideas through wisdom, good preaching and good debate, and to refrain from any militancy and stubbornness. They were careful.

This attitude of the Imams towards the opposition can be considered as one of the most important factors and grounds for consolidating and strengthening the rapprochement of religions. Therefore, these debates can be considered as one of the contexts that has attracted the positive view of followers of other religions and sects on the religion of the Ahl al-Bayt.
