Whenever millions of Iraqi Shiites visit the holy shrines, especially the shrine of Imam Musa ibn Ja’far (as) without knowing the facts of his time, the question arises as to where the Iraqi Shiites were during the time of Imam al-Kadhim and why when he was imprisoned.
They did not come to his aid and why did they disagree about the principle of his Imamate? The importance of this research is that it seeks to study and argue the role and situation of the Iraqi Shiites in that period and in the political, social, scientific and ideological fields; Along with a careful study of the relevant period, examining its complex situation and situation, examining the reasons that led to the practice of Taqiyya and the emergence of Shiite sects, and focusing on the most important events that Shiites were able to stand up and defend their existence.

To stand. They tried to overthrow the Abbasid ruler and were as careful as possible not to give any evidence or reason to the authorities that would be an excuse to destroy the Shiites before they could Play their role.
It is worth mentioning that one of the most important reasons for the success in maintaining the existence of Shiism has been the leadership of Imam Musa Kazem (as), his elected representatives and their important followers.
Concealing the appointment of the Imam, slandering, deviating some of the representatives of the Imam, spreading intellectual currents and religions and other reasons had a negative effect on the attitude towards the Imam (AS) and removed the mask from the faces of those who wanted to make a wrong idea Bring.
