The doctrine of intercession is one of the most important theological issues in the Islamic world, the principle of which has been accepted by all Islamic religions, and there is disagreement among Islamic religions about its conditions and types. The Ibadiyya religion, like the Imamiyya religion, analyzes intercession and considers it as certain.

This research has discussed this doctrine with a descriptive-analytical approach and searching for written sources in libraries and electronic sources. In summary, in the matter of intercession, the Ibadiyya religion has many points in common with the Imams that can be accepted as intercession. God Almighty and the Holy Prophet of Islam mentioned the promotion of believers in both cases. But the main point of difference between these two religions is the intercession of the sinners of the Islamic Ummah, which has not been accepted by the Ibadiyya religion and they have rejected it with their arguments, and in contrast to the Imams, they have presented solid arguments to prove the intercession of the sinners.

What is certain is that the scope of intercession in the Imamiyya religion is much wider than the Ibadiyya religion, and comparing the number of intercessors and the conditions of the blessed and those deprived of intercession in both religions will help to present and elaborate this discussion and has opened the field for followers.
