Ways to Confront the Noble Qur’an to Takfiri Ideological Extremism According to the Interpretations of the School of Ahl al-Bayt (Peace be Upon Them)

Takfiri intellectual extremism emerged early in the history of Islam, even before the social structure became complicated, whether in its intellectual system or in its means of life, because the causes of Takfiri intellectual extremism are not dependent on the complex social structure, but rather are embodied in the specifically naive environment. Takfiri ideological extremism has always existed not as a condition in the individual and society, but as a social phenomenon that expands and narrows according to the factors of its emergence, and the interaction and influence of these factors. And this was not limited to a certain level of life, but it almost includes or actually includes all levels, because takfiri ideological extremism is achieved wherever its cause is realized and on any level. In this thesis, we try to extrapolate from the Holy Qur’an’s point of view on this phenomenon in its takfiri intellectual dimensions, and how to treat it.

The importance of the research lies in that we want to present a practical approach in which the medicine and the cure for the takfiri extremism that our society suffers from. The takfiri ideological extremism needs a scientific confrontation, not a random confrontation. Without correcting the wrong situations and flaws in our reality in which we live, we will not reach a correct solution or a useful treatment The infallible solution available is the Book of God, the Noble Qur’an, so we must return to it to find a cure for this disease. Many writers have previously written about takfiri ideological extremism, but they did not address this topic through the Holy Qur’an, which distinguishes our research from other researches.

Our approach is descriptive and analytical based on research to prove the solutions that the Holy Qur’an made to the phenomenon of takfiri intellectual extremism for the benefit of the individual and the Islamic community.
