Chuang Tzu lived in the late fourth century BC. He is one of the most famous Chinese philosophers after Lao Tzu. His book is also one of the most exceptional and best literary philosophical works in the history of China as well as in the world, because it expresses the deepest concepts with a certain intelligence in the form of a story. Among them, the most famous part of the book is “Butterfly Dream”. In this story, he expresses his most important argument, “transformation”, and gives him a state in which he cannot distinguish between himself and Juang Zeh. In this case, nothing is fixed and clear to him; Everything is in a state of constant flow, and Juganze has called this state a “great beginning.” What is seen here is that Juganzeh speaks of an inability to understand and ironically points out that there must actually be a difference between being a butterfly or being a human being. Thus, in his story, Juangezeh tries to show the inherent limitations that result from attachment and how these attachments can impede freedom. He repeatedly states that true freedom knows no boundaries and does not lead to judgment. True freedom is achieved when a person flows with what he is and acts according to the conditions that exist. Finally, in order to achieve true freedom, one must become aware of the nature of the world and the source from which all beings originate.
