Today, numerous Shiite scholars have written many methodological works on Ismaili history and beliefs. According to Farhad Daftari’s many works and writings on the history and traditions of the Ismaili sect and their influence on Ismaili Studies This study seeks to answer the question that What method or methods has Farhad Daftari used in his studies? Due to the vacuum of studies conducted in this field, the results of this research are useful for students and enthusiasts and will pave the way for further studies and research. Examining the writings of Farhad Daftari in this research, we came to the conclusion that He used the method of historiography in the study of Ismaili history and has used three descriptive, analytical and comparative approaches. In the discussion of sources, the office method in her writings has been the use of a large volume of resources. She also used her own unique method of thinking about Ismaili studies and while stating history, he has entered the subject of ideas wherever necessary. In general, his approach is a combination of “historiography” and historicism. This research has been done by descriptive-analytical method and in reviewing sources and documents; the library method has been used.
