Satisfaction with marital life varies among different groups. The main purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of women’s employment status on marital satisfaction in their joint lives. The research method is survey and the study population is employed and unemployed women of Kashan city. Samples consisted of 200 employed women and 200 unemployed women were selected by simple random sampling. The results show that the mean of marital life satisfaction among women in the interval (1-5) was 3.55 more than the non-employed women with a mean of 2.93 which was due to the significance level of t-test. The results of multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) on the effects of employment on the components of marital satisfaction showed that in all components of marital satisfaction, ie conflict resolution, ideal distortions, personality problems, orientation were significant. Ideal, financial management, sex, parenting, family and friends, leisure time, and marriage These working women were more likely to be satisfied.
