Knowing the factors of happiness and salvation is important for every individual. In the verses of the Holy Quran, righteous deeds are stated as one of the factors of salvation. But there is no clear word as to what this righteous deed is and what its characteristics are.

In the following narrations, the verses of righteous deeds mention one of the examples of righteous believers, the Shiites of Imam Ali (as). The expression of such an example creates the hypothesis that there is an inseparable relationship between accepting the guardianship of the Ahl al-Bayt (as) and righteous deeds.

In this dissertation, by carefully examining the semantic field of righteous action, the effective factors in its realization, its semantics in verses and hadiths and examining the position of the  guardianship in verses and hadiths, I sought to prove this hypothesis and how this relationship. Common between righteous deeds and accepting guardianship, and matching the examples of “those who are trustworthy and do righteous deeds” in the Holy Qur’an on Shiites, we came to the conclusion that accepting the guardianship of the Ahl al-Bayt (as) in the realization of a righteous deed is an existential condition and acting without guardianship. Acting without accepting guardianship does not have the authority of the righteous act desired by the Holy Quran.

The research method in this dissertation is descriptive-analytical and library, which due to the importance and theological nature of Al-Mizan’s interpretation, I have placed this interpretation as a reference and source for interpretations of verses.
