Knowledge of God and related issues have occupied a large part of the Imami theological content. On the other hand, the characteristic of Imami theology compared to other Islamic sects, Is to include the topics of Imamology. Examining the debates among Imami theologians, We find the interaction between two theological matters, The idea of the effect of knowing God on knowing the Imam has supporters, As a group advocates the effect of knowing the Imam on knowing God. In this research, first, an exploration has been done in the category of views from the fourth to the tenth century AH, Then by examining the theological schools of Qom, Baghdad, Rey and Hilla We have mentioned the views of the scholars of each of the mentioned theological schools along with its evidences. After stating the type of effect of each of the knowledge of God and the knowledge of the Imam on each other, we have shown how mystical, theological, hadith and philosophical tendencies have influenced the choice of perspective.
