This study aims to identify the role of the official media of the Iraqi state in its support for the industrial sector, specifically the improvement of the cement industry in Kufa. This study relied on the content analysis method, especially at the level of interviews, which is a method used by the analyst, as this method aims to delve into a specific text or topic in terms of its form and content, as well as the analytical method, which helps to analyze field data obtained from the results of the interviews. Interpretation and interpretation, leading to hypotheses verification. This study concluded that there is insufficient interest by the official media in the economic aspect, especially the industry, as well as the weak media communication with the management of marketing cement products in the factory, the absence of government support and the popularity of the cheap import method of goods, despite the adoption of product protection laws by higher authorities Consumer protection, competition and monopoly law. Accordingly, the study recommends raising the level of consumer awareness, the need to pay attention to the local product and provide it to preserve the hard currency, move the wheel of construction and reconstruction in the country, indicate the quality of the local product, show the distinctive works to the public opinion, present all research, innovations and patents related to the cement industry, and achieve A clear media and production strategy based on a comprehensive and clear vision and objectives and a motivating message, with the aim of creating public opinion to support the national product.
