The role of historical knowledge in educating society when Imam Ali (peace be upon him)

Historical cognition is a multi-layered, useful and successful art; Because it introduces us to the behavior of the ancestors and the life of prophets and kings in their governments and policies. So that by doing this, everyone who learns from these stories will understand its benefit in this world and in the hereafter. Inevitably, we have to ask a question here and state the problems of the research: Does the follow-up of consecutive events help human progress? Does this mean accepting the idea of ​​progress towards a definite destination that human societies follow it ? Isn’t its occurrence on this date accidental or temporary? Isn’t there the possible to change the of history course and society by the help of thinkers? Scientific cognition is the research of human appearances, which has historical appearances as thematic cognition. What we finally come to is that every cognotion is formed on the basis of past and present human research. And this will be possible if he steps on a scientific path to guide him to the truth. Otherwise, this truth will remain relative and limited, especially in the field of historical research. Considering the involvement of some reasons in the reconstruction of its ideological background;  Perhaps Imam Ali (A.S.) through his blessed life, understood the historical apearances that they do not happen by chance. but based on the law that interprets those events. and informs about the future of that event. As can be understood from the way governments are formed, every government is formed based on narcissism. After some time, after development, it leads to a monarchy and tyranny,  One of the values ​​that Imam Ali (A.S.) strengthened in society was that nations can learn from their own history or the history of other nations. Therefore, human being as an individual or a society, which has relative values ​​, always starts its movement from the absolute.
