This study aims to show the programs offered by the Iraqi Ministry of Education in the face of the Corona crisis, as well as to show the ability of public relations in the Iraqi Ministry of Education to face the challenges and obstacles it faces in facing the Corona crisis, especially improving relations, whether inside or outside the Ministry. In addition to that, developing a sense of responsibility among the employees of the educational institution, especially through well-known means of communication such as newspapers, magazines, television and social media.
This study relied on a method that was relied on in this study on one of the scientific research methods, which is the descriptive analytical method, which helps to analyze and interpret field data obtained from the statistical results of the questionnaire, leading to the verification of hypotheses.
As for the level of the research tool, this study used the questionnaire tool, as it is the most appropriate for the method and subject of this study, knowing that our study is a survey of Iraqi school principals in school principals in the Balad Education Department as well as the Dhuluiya Education Department of the General Directorate of Education in Salah al-Din, for the academic year 2021-2022.
This study concluded that the Public Relations Department has an important and influential role in the effective strategic planning of the Iraqi Ministry of Education, as well as working to educate students, managers, teachers and students’ families, to prevent the Corona pandemic on the one hand, and to adapt to distance learning techniques, and ensure the ability to continue the process Educational and educational in light of the Corona crisis, according to quality standards, reducing dropouts among students and the administrative and educational body, raising their morale, achieving coherence, cooperation and coordination required between the various educational institutions of the ministry, working in a team spirit, and improving relations, both inside and outside the ministry.
Accordingly, the study recommends to the trainees that public relations in the Ministry of Education be more transparent in communicating with its internal and external audience, and that it have a greater role in creating an inspiring atmosphere and enhancing hope in departments and enhancing cohesion and solidarity between workers within the Ministry, teachers, students and their families, and that students and students work To raise their level in dealing with computers, as well as to gain more ability for self-education, through acquiring scientific research skills, with a focus on the authenticity of in-person educational programs, raising the level of Internet speed and reducing its financial cost.
