This study aims to know the role of the sports media in attracting investments to sports clubs, as well as to monitor the issues that the sports media reflected on investing in the sports club, and to determine the importance of the media in contributing to the development of investment in the sports sector, and to know the strengths and weaknesses in the media performance towards investing in clubs. Sports, and an attempt to reveal the obstacles and obstacles that stand in the way of activating sports investment, and represents the main question of the study: What is the role of sports media in attracting investment to sports club. To answer this question, the researcher relied in his study on: the descriptive approach; The fact that this study belongs to the group of descriptive studies, of a quantitative and qualitative nature; By conducting a survey on a sample of Iraqi university students of (400) individuals using the questionnaire form, and surveying a number of heads of departments by means of the interview form, at the rate of (8) individuals; With the aim of identifying the content of the contents of the sports media about investment. The study concluded with a set of results, including that the sports media does not help to find solutions to the problems of sports investment, and that it does not contribute to the presentation of topics that diagnose the problems that sports investment suffers from. Shy in spreading and covering, and that the most important solutions and ingredients are based on attracting media and administrative competencies, which have the ability to create opportunities, and work in a scientific manner and with deliberate steps to make profitable deals that contribute to setting a financial return for the club, as well as addressing investment issues and using modern means and technologies to achieve the club’s goals. Among the most prominent recommendations are activating the role of the media, relying on specialists and academics in the process of managing the medium, encouraging investors by granting special privileges, developing an investment strategy that qualifies the investment process, and keeping pace with the concerned authorities to address the problems of investment deals.
