The two surahs “Al-Kahf” and “Yaseen” are among the most beautiful surahs of the
Qur’an in terms of form and meaning, due to their formal features and numerous artistic images. For this reason, this research, with a descriptive-analytical approach, aims to examine the technical beauty of these two surahs in a rhetorical dimension.
Technical study is the best way to convey the meanings of the Qur’an and its specific rules in the present time. In addition to the fact that the Arabic language has been greatly oppressed by its own people, the Arabic-speaking people do not have enough Predominate over their language. Also, in this research, we intend to clarify the various images and patterns of images included in the text of these two surahs and talk about these images in general. This research will also refer to sub-images, the definition of aesthetic secrets and examples of these images, the explanation of metaphorical images, similes, allusions, and symbolism in expressing meanings. Repetition of sentences and accuracy in choosing words and using opposites, implication, synonymy, and verbal sharing are among the items that should be considered, which include the meaning of emphasis and comprehensiveness.
The purpose of this research is to serve the book of God Almighty and the benefits of great rhetoric, the result of which is to understand the meanings of the words of God Almighty. Note that the aesthetic sense in the Holy Qur’an is based on the elements of illustration and embodiment, because the Qur’an forces the reader to meditate and think as he sees those stories and scenes with the naked eye.
The results of the research indicate the existence of figures of speech such as alliteration, Saj‘, implication, paradox, exaggeration, involution, and evolution. In addition, ignoring the custom and harmony of the word with the meaning in Surah Al-Al-Al-Kahf has a profound effect on the interpretation of the verses, the approximation of the meaning, and the effect on the recipient. In the verses of Surah Yaseen, we also see figures of speech, because he speaks to people about the Al-Akhirah and Doomsday with reason and argument. The salient features of the two surahs of Al-Kahf and Yaseen are that these two surahs contain numerous and varied topics such as belief, personal behavior, stories, and advice.
The sounds, words, and structures in these two surahs have created a close relationship between form and meaning and the expression of religious intentions, and have revealed the wonderful secrets that exist in the vocabulary of the image and show its beauty. Also, since the researcher’s motivation for this research was servitude and worship, and the researcher wanted to offer service to the holy book.
