The purpose of this thesis is to explore semiotics and how to use it based on the analysis of the Tehran series and to answer the main question“What are the connotations and semiotic symbols of the Israeli series Tehran with a focus on the issue of government penetration” in this thesis, using the descriptive analytical method and semiotic theory of John Fisk and Van Dyck, It deals with the semiotic description of the representation of the different social and ideological symbols in this series, and the most important results are the following: The advertising image of the series poster through the process of capturing the image and the angle of the camera came from the bottom to the top, which indicates that the director wanted to show the girl in the image of the strong, authoritarian and influential figure Regarding the decoration and the things in the picture, the actors’ mastery of the Iranian language, the costumes and the signs in the streets, such as traffic signs or signs for buildings or shops, and even donation boxes that fill the streets of Iran, all of this indicates that the series makers were interested in focusing on the smallest details that can be observed as they are In the streets of Iran, through the scene of the Israeli citizen laughing at the veil worn by one of the female passengers on the plane Social life The director wanted to show the image of the Muslim woman in a backward way, trying to make fun of her, her veil, the teachings laid down by the Islamic religion, and other results.
