The study aimed to clarify the issues and roles of the military media in the face of psychological warfare against ISIS through the (protectors of Iraq) program during 2016، represented by the main question of the study in:- what are the issues and roles of the military media in the face of psychological warfare against ISIS?. To answer this question، we analyzed the content of the episodes of the (protectors of Iraq) Program، where a sample of the program was selected، consisting of 12 episodes within the year 2016، distributed at the rate of one episode each month out of 48 episodes، in the manner of the intentional sample. The study contributes to revealing the factors that helped in strengthening national concepts between the military media and society in all its segments، especially at the security and political levels، and its impact on the culture and behavior of citizens through the Protectors of Iraq program، where the researcher sheds light on the military media، its roles، importance، functions and all its tools. Then he went back to the definition of psychological warfare and a statement of its methods، types، principles and objectives، where the researcher relied in his study on the two theories of going further and arranging priorities to reach the most important results، namely: the contribution of the military media to preventing anxiety، tension and fear in the community، by informing it of the course of things and events by clarifying suspicions to raise the morale of the people and instill a spirit of safety and tranquility in the souls of society. The behavior of the military media also contributed to highlighting the prestige of the forces The researcher reached several recommendations، including: Studying how takfiri groups use strategic communication techniques، and how they use strategic communication management techniques، and there must be treatments to improve the quality of media programs that will confront psychological warfare launched from Before any enemy in the future، focus on the quality of the personalities who are interviewed in the program، which will raise the level of the (protectors of Iraq) program، and the need for those in charge of such programs to return to the scientific heritage that predetermines the roles and topics of the military media in the face of the enemy’s psychological warfare، and thus preparing the program’s episodes constructively those roles.
