The research on the role of the media in addressing social issues of violence against women in Maysan is summarized in an attempt to monitor and analyze the phenomenon of violence and address it, and to be aware of the factors that lead to it. And shed light on the Iraqi social environment and the role of media institutions in addressing the phenomenon of violence, and analyzing the culture of violence against women in society and the role of the Iraqi media.
The importance of this study stems from the fact that it sheds light on the negative and positive effects of the media role in shaping the culture of the society, whether it is consistent or not in harmony with the spirit of the intellectual system in the Iraqi society in general and the Maysani society in particular, and the importance of studying this topic is that it is considered an attempt to protect the Iraqi society in a way. In general and the Maysanite community in particular, and thus this study becomes a modest attempt to re-establish social security and contribute to rebuilding the social fabric, and it is a primary reference contribution to securing psychological stability for Mycenaean women and to achieving progress through the role and contribution of positive media in conveying ideas to Messianic women and educating them against violent practices .
It was revealed through the research tools that the role of the media in addressing the issue of violence against women in Iraqi society and Maysan was not at the required level, and did not reach its goal. Rather, the media in general did not affect the treatment of many deviant social phenomena, foremost of which is the phenomenon of violence against women. Yes, it can be said that he has succeeded in presenting and disseminating the phenomenon of violence against women in a strong and great way, and this presentation in this emotional way is considered one of the dangerous indicators, but it did not mobilize and did not exploit the new media features of Fateh Relevant channels in the treatment are related to the documentation of evidence, and the most important factors that can form a social environment that drives intent towards criminal behavior are the tribal traditions through which the matter can reach killing or suicide, whereby the person gets the idea of a person’s coexistence to make a decision This decision is the result of pressure from the surrounding circumstances, or acceptance of living and surrendering to a life full of humiliation and humiliation. The most important conclusions reached by the researcher are: Some media have developed the mechanisms and methods used for broadcasting to become highly and remarkably high technology, but this development was used by them for the cultural conquest of the public and in weakening the cultural formation, including women in villages and rural areas in Maysan, they fell victim. For this invasion. These media outlets did not aim to spread awareness for them, but rather to change a culture, and perhaps commercial or other goals, and the solid personality of the Iraqi man is linked to the free and harsh climate factor in addition to the difficult economic situation in Maysan, because of these factors the media could not create a cultural and intellectual environment to spread awareness in Villages and rural areas of the Messianic woman, And that the media did not create an intellectual and cultural environment in Iraq to spread awareness yet, and perhaps some very few channels in a timid manner, but it was not at the clear level in achieving and creating a suitable environment and climate to address violence against women.
