A Historical Study in the Islamic Sects through the Book of Al-Ansab of Al-Samaani

This study, which is a historical study in Islamic sects through the book of Al-Ansab of al-Samaani, was concerned with a subject that researchers in history and Islamic sects rarely pay attention to, namely, attention to the valuable historical and verbal information contained in relative sources about Islamic sects. Lineage, tribal affiliations, and general information that is rarely included in other sources, but it is not noted as a source of sects and theology. With this study, which falls within the historical descriptive and analytical studies, the prestigious position of this book has emerged in the valuable information it provides about Islamic sects and sects, including sects. The prevailing jurisprudence of them and the outdated and the theological doctrines of the Shiites and the Sunnis and other doctrines that do not fall into it such as the ghulat and the mystics, it included most of these schools and their theological beliefs and their people and the translation of their men and great ones that we rarely find in other sources. Alongside this information and advantages, there are lapses, slips and fanaticism that are rarely exonerated by human traces, and the books of created people have mentioned some of the doctrines that follow them in the real world, such as Musawiyah or a statement about the divinity of the Awaited Mahdi (may God hasten his honorable reappearance) according to some Shiites and not mentioning it. The doctrine of Ahl al-Bayt, which is the Ja`fari sect among the schools of jurisprudence, and the lack of detail for the branches of the Ismaili Shi`i sect, and mentioning the Qarmatians and the Batiniyya as two independent sects, and this is among the summaries of this research.
