The research problem is in determining the relationship between media literacy and political trust (a survey study on the youth of Baghdad province) and according to this issue، the researcher begins with the question: what is the relationship between media literacy and increasing political trust in There are among the youth of Baghdad province. The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between media literacy and political trust in the youth of Baghdad province. In the implementation phase، 393 people were selected as a sample and completed the questionnaire. This research is a descriptive survey research in which the researcher describes the phenomenon، tabulates and then interprets the data and concludes. The results showed that media literacy has a significant effect on political trust. The results showed that there is a relationship between the ability to recognize and understand media content and increase political trust among the youth of Baghdad province. There is also a link between the ability to consciously choose media messages and increase political trust among the youth of Baghdad province. There is a relationship between the ability to think critically and increase political trust among the youth of Baghdad province. Finally، this study concluded that there are fundamental differences in the demographic variables and media literacy of the youth of Baghdad province. There is a significant difference between the variables of gender and media literacy among the youth of Baghdad province، there is a significant difference between the variables of age and media literacy among the youth of Baghdad province، and finally between the level of education and media literacy among the youth of Baghdad province there is a significant difference.
