The problem in this study is to know the relationship between the use of social networking sites and job satisfaction for employees in the Iraqi Ministry of Oil, The study also tries to find the effect of this use on the employees of the Ministry of Oil, the research sample located in the capital of the Republic of Iraq, Baghdad. Through this, the problem formed the main question: What is the relationship between using the social networking site and job satisfaction?

The importance of the research lies in shedding light on the importance of social networking sites in creating job satisfaction among workers in the ministry, which distinguished this study as being the first of its kind, as it worked to find that relationship and analyze its results. The study relied on descriptive analytical methods, using survey methods and research questionnaire tools, where data tables were distributed, as the study sample size was (401) from the Iraqi Ministry of Oil, and the data was analyzed using the (spss) program.

The study resulted in several results, the most important of which is that the content available on social networking sites contributes to the development of employee productivity, Where it was found that the use of social networking sites (Facebook) is the most common among social networking sites, In the survey sample 55%, where the researchers found another group in the study sample, a certain percentage (41.4%) that was not interested in social networking sites and officially communicated with the Ministry of Education.
