Studying the optimal use of media for the community police in public awareness to achieve community security

The purpose of this research is to studying the optimal use of the media by the Iraqi community police in public awareness and finding the most appropriate media, along with knowing the most appropriate content and technical frameworks used by the Iraqi community police for Achieving community security. This research was done based on the qualitative analysis method. The researcher used a detailed interview as a research tool. The main question of this research is: What is the best use of the media by the Iraqi community police in awareness the people in order to achieve community security? At the end of this research, the researcher reached the results, the most important of which are:iraqi community police uses from various media such as: social networks, seminars, conferences, regional associations, networks , satellites, domestic radio and television networks, press and posters. Also, the researcher found that there are appropriate and diverse contents in public awareness that are used by the community police in the awareness programs of that institution; including: educational, cultural, guiding and instructional contents. The researcher also realized that the artistic models are suitable and effective, which the Iraqi community police uses in order to expand its awareness-raising programs and activities. And currently, the most important and appropriate models are those used in social networks such as Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and YouTube. And also, in this context, it is possible to refer to a television conversation or interview, a radio conversation or interview, a live conversation, and a press interview. This research has several recommendations, including: The Ministry of Interior of Iraq should support post-graduate studies in the field of security and use those studies and their results and recommendations; Also, solve the lack of specialized personnel in community police missions; And also to provide and update the material and technical facilities in order to keep up with developments in the field of media tools and the output of its awareness programs. As the researcher advises the social police command to use this research; Because he formed the main body of their operation and is making serious efforts to strengthen the abilities and skills of the personnel in the field of media.
