Khorasan is the cradle that emerged from the Abbasid Caliphate, and its people felt that they were not given the care and attention of those in charge of the state. What increased their feeling of discontent was that most of the governors of Khorasan cared for their interests and enrichment without caring about the welfare of the subjects, to the extent that some of them increased taxes without justification. Khorasan was more important than others in Iran. The princes of the royal family who installed rulers over Khorasan had the title “Koshan Shah. There are many reasons that made Khorasan so important: the presence of intelligent personalities who run the government well and they have specialized personnel in various political fields, Social and military. Among the Sassanid kings were Shahpur I, Hormuz I, Bahram I and Bahram II, who took over the rule of Khurasan before his accession to the throne. Likewise, Mazyar and Abu Muslim Khorasani and others have a wide reputation among the Abbasids. In this thesis, we adopt a descriptive-analytical approach and a study on the role of the Khorasanis in the administration of the government and the escalation of the level of the Abbasid state at the hands of Mazyar and Abi Muslim Khorasani.
