The overall frameworks of interaction with the environment from the perspective of the Qur’an and Shi’i narrations and its impacts on human salvation

The issue of how human beings interact with the environment and its protection, as well as the dangers arising around the world due to the unprincipled interaction of some humans with the environment  affect part of modern human thought, especially the elite. This issue is gradually becoming one of the major global challenges. In many countries of the world,  the human life has been on the verge of destruction by the improper interaction of humans with living and inanimate environmental resources around them.

The issue of environmental protection has been significantly emphasized by Islamic law and in the verses of the Qur’an and Imam’s traditions due to its close relationship with human life as well as its relationship with the system of creation in order to protect the environment and prevent its destruction. There are many valuable topics regarding the worldly and divine consequences of improper interaction with its components, in the light of their teachings, addressing legal inefficiencies in this area, and further clarifying the accountability of individuals, organizations and governments for protection of the envioronment.  And by explaining the environmental issues  and providing appropriate solutions for the principled and correct interaction of humans with living and inanimate natural creatures around him from encroachment on nature, environment and animal rights or the monopoly of the use of environmental resources by a group, a lot of problems can be prevented.

In this research the author has tried to use the verses of the Qur’an and Shiite narrations in the first stage to examine the importance of environmental resources and then extract the principles governing the correct and principled interaction of human beings with components of environment around him and offer Quranic and narrational solutions in this regard. Therefore, by examining the verses of the Qur’an and the narrations of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS), the importance of the existence of environmental resources such as water, soil, plants, trees and animals in human life has been studied. In the last stage, the effects of unprincipled and unhealthy human behavior with the environment around him in his worldly and divine happiness are examined.

Among the innovations in this research, the following can be mentioned.

1- Extensive study of the general frameworks of human interaction with the environment in the Qur’an and Imam’s traditions

2- Presenting Quranic and narration solutions in order to interact humanly with the environment.

3- Investigating the effect of human misbehavior with the environment on his worldly and divine happiness.
