Considering the profound effects of cinema on the audience, and paying attention to the special features of cinema, including the socialization of individuals and providing a role model to the audience, especially women as half of the population, who also have the important responsibility of raising children and educating generations.  We studied the representation of women in movies and its adaptation to the ideal woman in the thought of Shahid Motahari, because if we present patterns that are inconsistent with our religion and culture or positive patterns and in accordance with our original criteria, it will certainly have an impact on society.  And future generations will see. The present study is qualitative and with purposeful sampling method and using John Fisk semiotic technique. The theoretical framework of the research includes feminist theories, Shahid Motahari’s views and theories based on influencing the audience such as: stereotypes  It is naturalization, embossing and planting.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how a woman is represented in movies and its adaptation to the desired woman in the mind of Shahid Motahari. A review of selected films (forushandeh, his! dokhtarha faryad nemizanand and barf roye kajha) shows that although the movies  Cinema in some cases represents the criteria of the desired woman, but we still see the presentation of concepts consistent with feminist culture in films
