The research is titled ‘The scientific and political position of Imam Sadeq (peace be upon him) in Zaidi’. The Shi’a imams, in their lives and afterwards, enjoyed a special status among the people and were introduced by political groups, social groups and sects as moral models. Among these groups, one of the sects are Zaidi. Zaid, son of Imam Sajjad (peace be upon him), was born in 80 AH and at the age of 42 he was revolted in Kufa in order to reform the Ummah and uncovered blood of his grandfather, Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) during the time of Hisham bin Abdul Malek bin Marwan. Safar month 122 AH was martyred. Some of the differences between the Imamate of Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) were denied that he was not following the Imam himself claiming Imamate, while Zaid believed in the imamate of his father, brother and son of his brother. From the viewpoint of Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him), Zaid the mystic was their Imam. He received the approval of the Imam and saluted them, but, on the other hand, saw Zaidi a deviation from the Imamate line. These people were not accepted by the Imams because of the Ideological and intellectual deviation in their acts and deeds. Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) considered the scientific and jurisprudential and verbal development of the Shiite community as a priority, and did not enter into insurrections without strong intellectual capital, in which the faithful forces killed the society. Each of Zaidi’s major sects had a special look at Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him), to the extent that some of Zaidi’s elders regarded them as the link of Zaidian to Estanahi. The oldest works of Zaidi of Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) are considered as scientific authority and they are very respected.
