Imam Ali bin Musa al-Ridha, peace be upon them both, is the son of the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, and he is the eighth of the pure imams and they are the successors of the Prophet of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, and to that, he is a shining cosmic reality, many of its blessings and dignity appeared on the Shiite and Islamic doctrines. Rather, some of them are against the Sunni sects and their societies as well, so that their imitators have made them blaspheme in praise of the Imam, peace be upon him, and praise and glorification, and their scholars have recorded this in their books, even if what was mentioned in them of the virtues of the scholar of the family of Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, did not show his true status, but was a point. From the ocean of sciences and blessings of the pure imams, peace be upon them, but it was a recognition from them according to their visions and the level of their thoughts for this blessed imam, the blessed Imam. The collection and classification of this valuable heritage despite the many shortcomings that surrounded it in the events in which the writers of the books of the Sunnis occurred in their methods and expressions. The great support for the Sunnis in visiting the blessed shrine of Imam Reza, peace be upon him, from all Islamic sects, and the second motive is the lack of clarity in the views of the Sunni scholars regarding the blessed history of Imam Reza, peace be upon him, and the scattered opinions around it, especially after the misguided skepticism campaign that the Wahhabis sought in order to destroy the truthful vision of the people The house, peace be upon them, and the objectives of this study consisted of several things according to the aforementioned necessity, the first of which is to form a complete picture of the opinions and concepts of the Sunnis and Shiites about the different dimensions of the personality of Imam al-Rida, peace be upon him, and secondly, the quest for rational doctrinal approximation between the Shiite and Sunni Islamic sects, and thirdly, taking precautions and measures from Falling into a strife among Muslims and trying to avoid it, especially among followers of the Shiite and Sunni sects, and we must clarify that the purpose of the Sunni scholars in this study are the scholars of the Hanafi, Shafi’i, Maliki, Hanbali and Zahiri schools, and we have quoted their opinions and sayings from their books about the Ahl al-Bayt, peace be upon them, in the fourth and fifth centuries. The study method is neither descriptive nor purely analytical, but rather adopts the two methods together, which is the descriptive and analytical method. And the historical sayings of Sunni scholars and Shiite Ja`fari scholars about Imam Reza, peace be upon him, and we studied them in a historically objective manner, then we analyzed their opinions critically according to their opinions, principles and sayings, and our study relies on more than one hundred and forty sources from the sources of the Sunnis directly and the sources of the Ja`fari Shiites directly.
