This study aims to determine the internal public’s assessment of the performance of public relations in the Najaf Health Department, where theorists have recently noticed confusion in the level of performance of the Department of Health and Medical Affairs in Najaf Governorate, especially in the time of Corona and some grumbling that appeared on some employees, so it was from It is better to search for a new message in the performance of the work of the Public Relations Department in the Health Department of Najaf, which generated a motive for the researcher in this current study to research and discover the benefits of the Public Relations Department, under the title: “Assessing the performance of public relations towards its internal audience. According to the main question represented) What is the internal public’s evaluation of the performance of public relations in the Najaf Health Department in 2020 as a model). Public Relations Department. The answer to the question was based on research and descriptive research. In this study, the researcher relied on the survey method because it is the most appropriate to the nature of the research through the use of The use of the questionnaire tool. The thesis is divided into five chapters, and the focus is on the fourth chapter, the field framework. To fill out an arbitrated questionnaire, through which the hypotheses were verified. Statistical analysis is quantitative, and the population of this research consists of 800 workers in the Najaf Health Department. The sample of this research includes males and females, and from different age groups, as the number of workers who filled out the electronic questionnaire reached 256 male and female employees who are the research sample. Field results The study sample from an administrator and a technician agreed on all the statements related to evaluating the performance of public relations, and the study sample from the director of the department agreed on all the statements related to evaluating the performance of public relations, and the study sample from the director of the division and a unit official agreed on all the statements related to evaluating the performance of public relations, and the hypothesis was proven correct Basic and assumptions There is an acceptable degree of success in the performance of public relations in a health department that expresses relative satisfaction to its internal audience, and there is a public relations department within the organizational structure of the institution, in addition to the fact that the structure no longer meets the actual need, due to the inflation in work that resulted from the Corona pandemic. . As for the methods and means of communication that public relations depend on in their activities, they are not diverse, and do not keep pace with the technological development of our time. After engaging in this study at the theoretical and field levels, we recommend that the employees in the public relations departments be specialists and graduates of media colleges. And for the Najaf Health Department to open specialized courses for public relations employees in which the Health Department provides material and moral support to overcome obstacles.
