The Techniques of Contemporary Visual Arts and its Reflection in Postmodernism Paintings

For the 21st century learners, it’s a necessity to acquire a lot of knowledge, experience, techniques and technical skills in order to be informed about the scientific and cognitive developments that our modern world is going through. This practical progress provided techniques, tools and materials that assisted in providing the new perspectives in the works of art production, which were reflected through the results that followed the artistic vision and aesthetic experience and caused the works of art to be produced differently and using a variety of different artistic techniques. As in nowadays modern world it is necessary to keep up with technical progression and it has become a characteristic in this era which is introduced with cognitive and scientific development. And because of the mentioned characteristic, the idea of writing this research titled “The Techniques of Contemporary Visual Arts and its Reflection in Postmodernism Paintings”. Was chosen. Therefore, in this research, endeavors were made to answer this question: What are the most important artistic features that characterize contemporary art? And what are the most important modern technologies that have appeared in postmodern painting? Therefore, the researcher in this research, based on the descriptive-analytical approach which It is based on an expression of the technical progress of the image in the visual arts and modern artistic trends and methods based on examples of postmodern painting. Therefore, this research includes the study of the works of postmodern schools and the analysis of works of art to reach the research results. In this study, based on the results obtained by the researcher, it is stated that: postmodern arts rely on culture, concepts and ideas, and in the previous periods it did not exist. Postmodern arts also use technological, industrial, technical, informational, advertising, media and fashion developments, formulating forms in completing works. At the end of this, the researcher recommends to carry out similar studies on the application of technology in postmodern painting and computer technologies and their use in postmodern arts.
