Religious diversity is one of the most popular topics between modern authors and philosophers, where such arguments formulate a significant subdivision in modern theological studies. Among this wide religious diversity, each school of thought clearly defines unique religious performances as the single way to deserve salvation in the afterlife.

In my research, I used an analytical-descriptive method to present both Karl Rahneer, a modern Christian philosopher, and Shahid Mortiza Motahari, a well-known Islamic philosopher, theories. Both philosophers presented new claims concerning the Religious diversity argument. We saw that Rahneer stressed on the truthfulness of Christianity. Still, he opened the path for other religions’ followers to deserve God’s salvation by establishing new philosophical pillars. On the Islamic side, Shahid Motahari argues that all religions share one central aspect, however Islam is the best of them. Shahid Motahari relies on Holy Quran Verses and Islamic writings to conclude that non-Muslims can deserve God’s salvation if they believed in one God(monotheism) and the justice in the afterlife, then behaved accordingly. In other words, everyone can rely on his/her inborn innate to achieve that, thus they can be accepted to fit for God’s salvation.

Both theories are clearly presented in this research, plus some counter-arguments and their refutations as well. In this study, we see that both theories aim to present a factual solution for the idea of multiple religions, where they truly accomplished that.
