An examination of the perversion of existing theories about the inadmissibility of crying and mourning reveals That The flaws resulting from the inaccuracy of the narrations quoted and the false proportions of the traditions to the religion and the Prophet (peace be upon him) and consequently divergent interpretations stemming from Salafi Polytheism thoughts Causes ignorance, falsehood and error in mourning practice among Sunnis and that has led the jury and the divisor into the abyss. On the one hand, realism and reference to the basics of mourning licenses in the Prophet’s and Imam’s (S) and the Holy Qur’an and indicate the permissibility and relevance of the authenticity of this luminous tradition, whose discovery is one of the main positions of the present thesis.
This descriptiveـanalytic study, while examining the history and evolution of mourning culture, seeks to identify the position of today’s mourning among Iranianـbased Sunni scholars by examining the numerous arguments of its proponents and opponents. This will also be a prelude to responding to the cowardly exaggerations and prejudices of the dissidents and apostates of the Prophet’s (pbuh) school of thought, especially Imam Hussein (pbuh).
The traditions and rituals of Muslims since the time of the Prophet (pbuh) and the infallible Imams (pbuh) have so far been affected by the conditions and requirements of various eras, especially the native governments and customs of the people. Although the Imamiyyah Shiites have historically been scholars of the mourning tradition, the role of other Islamic religions such as the Sunnis in this aspect of devotion to the Prophet (pbuh) cannot be neglected. Studies in the present thesis provide a way to answer the question of why and how the tradition of Muslim mourning has been distorted and consequently transformed throughout history?
