 The decisive differences between the different types of modern critical indicators grew, and these types tended rise against the borders It was characterized by its cultural, scientific and literary characteristics, which were among the most important characteristics of their overthrowing of controls, and these observations increased as a revolution with the increasing awareness of the creator, who has always sought to hybridize them intending to break with the stereotype, and to create templates more in line with what he tries to assemble in creative formulas compatible with his consciousness and consistent with his personality and vision .This study aimed to try to prove the relevance of the modern novel and its overlap with other literary genres “Thoughts, memories, letters, photographs, paintings, dialogues, and diaries”, so it began dealing with these genres as a flexible and open concept that allows plurality and overlap. The literary genre is not a fixed given, but rather changes from an era to another, as a result of the change in the composition of that genre, so it is not feasible to establish any strict classification of any genres for any literary genres .Modern Arabic literature has witnessed many images that reflect this overlap between literary genres, and the novel was one of the genres that absorbed that overlap, and this is due to the nature of the novel and its flexibility, which prepared it to overlap with other literary genres, as it is a genre characterized by its ability to diversify and benefit From various sources, then it is of a malleable form that allows its writer a wide freedom ,Its molds multiply with the types that we mentioned above and other types, and perhaps we will not deviate from the correctness if we say that it is one of the types most in line with the requirements of the modern era, given that life in it has become more complex and more entangled in its molecule than before, so it called for transmission To a stage in which the specificity of these parts is granted, and each of them is given its right, which is what it was able to present the novel by focusing the elements of its construction on one idea, and a certain angle from the divergent corners of life, this is what we have seen in the novels of the Iraqi novelist (Saad Muhammad Rahim), as we found in his novels a generic intertwining with which he strengthened the structure of the narrative body. There were six distinct literary genres that had a presence and a fusion in his narrative templates, which are “thoughts, memories, letters, photographs, and paintings.
