Muhammad Abed al-Jaberi is one of the contemporary Arab thinkers who has a special contribution to the development of understanding of the history of Islam. This  Thesis, which is specific to the analysis and critique of Jaberi’s view of Shiism, seeks to answer the main question of what Jabri’s view is in different areas of Shi’ism and its expression and evidence, and what criticisms have been leveled at him? The aim of the present study is to analyze and critique Jaberi’s view of Shiism.

The research method is descriptive-analytical. In this method, by using Jaberi’s works, we will first deal with his views and thoughts on Shiism, and then we will criticize his ideas in three areas: methodological, content and citation

.
Jaberi has implicitly examined Shiism. For this reason, he portrays the image of Shi’ism as incomplete and vague, and his studies of Shi’ism are considered to be in line with his design (critique of Arabic reason). Explaining the three approaches to the critique of Arabic reason, expressive reason, mystical reason, and argumentative reason, he explained mystical reason and then placed Shiism in mystical reason.

According to Jabri, Shiism is a harm in the Islamic world that must be criticized in the Arabic intellect. Jabri’s prejudice is evident in the description of Shiism, and this prejudice can be seen throughout his works. In many cases, he has attacked Shiism instead of describing it. Jaberi looked at Shiism with pessimistic glasses.
