Social media، including Facebook، is one of thmostprominentproducts of the digital revolution in the era of globalization in which media and diplomacy overlap to influence politics and decision-making by influencing public opinion، and trying to win the battle of ideas in the context of the so-called policy of winning minds and hearts، hence the importance of our study Through which we seek to research the American media via the Facebook platform، using the descriptive analysis method in the style of content analysis، for the topics published on the page within three months for the period from 1/4/2022 to 30/6/2022. The study was framed by using the media framing theory and the theory of prioritization، and to achieve the objectives of the message represented in describing the international public relations practiced by the US Embassy in Iraq through Facebook، as it represents an effective communicative pattern to achieve a theoretical understanding of how to employ it، and the extent of benefit from these websites as a new means of communication in The work of public relations in foreign embassies in Iraq، by working to provide an answer to the main question and related sub-questions، dealing with the most prominent topics on which the publications of that page focused، and their trends، and the mental and emotional appeals adopted by the American Embassy in Iraq page on Facebook. The answers to the main question: (What is the analysis of the content of the American Embassy in Iraq’s Facebook page towards the Iraqi society?) As for the sub-questions: (What are the most prominent topics spread on the American Embassy’s Facebook page? What are the trends of the American Embassy in Iraq’s page on Facebook? What are the mental and emotional appeals adopted by the US Embassy in Iraq page on Facebook?) and K You are the findings of the study: The Americans sought to convince the Iraqi society of the idea that the United States is closer to representing the role of the charitable agency that is concerned with building a modern، democratic، and stable Iraq. And its quest to emphasize its role in protecting the Iraqi people and their democratic experience from the dangers of violence، terrorism and extremism، leading to the formation of trends in public opinion with the need to rely on the United States as the honest guardian and the greatest sponsor of the interests of the Iraqi people.
