Manifestation and Appearance are of the most important philosophical and mystical Qur’anic issues that have been widely discussed by commentators, philosophers and mystics. Manifestation means the appearance of God Almighty, which occurred through names, attributes and actions. But appearance means getting the form of an object into the mind, or the embodiment of truths and spirits in the imagination of the viewer by the Supreme Being.

Where manifestation and appearance are originally two Qur’anic words, and because Islamic philosophers and mystics have always practiced the Qur’an and the teachings of the religion, and at the same time throughout the history of the educational sciences in Islam, have found a philosophical and mystical burden, and because manifestation and appearance are both related to the existential system and the epistemological system of man. Therefore, it is necessary to discuss and research the two as well as the concepts and teachings related to them in the Holy Qur’an; Because the Qur’an is the basic source and method of wisdom and mysticism in the Islamic world. In other words, it can be said that this research in the field of philosophy and mysticism is necessary to seek the roots of philosophical and mystical principles and concepts in the Qur’an and can be considered as a bridge between the Qur’an and argument and mysticism.

With the research method in this dissertation, after studying the manifestation and appearance in philosophy, mysticism and Quranic verses and comparing the two with each other, with the analytical-descriptive method, we came to the conclusion that the relationship between the both is absolute generality and peculiarity. Which means that every appearance is manifestation, but not every manifestation is appearance. In other words, manifestation includes all appearance’s referents, and has other referents besides it.
