This study aims to determine the different aspects of media coverage of Iraqi news in al-Mawhidah publication of the Iraqi National Media Coalition. The title of this study is the analysis of al-Mawhidah publication of the Iraqi National Media Coalition in strengthening social support for the security forces published by the Iraqi media network. Weaknesses in its content are examined by asking the main question: what role does Al-Mawhidah publication of the Iraqi National Media Coalition play in strengthening   social support for the security forces?

 In the  second chapter of this study, the content of the magazine and specialized media  are  investigated and the security media in all its dimensions are   studied , then the war correspondent and the content of social support and active forces in the magazine are  discussed. In the third chapter, this study selected the publication as its research community using the quantitative content analysis method and selected 12 publications as samples for the research using the purposive sampling method. In this study, the findings were analyzed. It also used four theories of use and satisfaction, media dependence theory, cultural establishment theory, and social support theory to investigate  the performance of Iraqi media and identify strengths and weaknesses, and increase the performance of Iraq News. The most important results  mentioned in the fifth chapter are  that the security news in the coverage of the Iraqi news magazine (58%) compared to the rest of the topics presented by Al-Mohwehda magazine in 2016-2017, which is due to the variety of media, analytical, interpretive and intellectual reports and trusting the experts and specialists of the Iraqi media network. Also, we  do not forget the role of the Ministry of Defense as active forces in the events related to the liberation of Mosul with a percentage (42 % ) that was at the top and a high percentage of active participation that was covered by Al-Mowahidah  publication through local news agencies and also from press interviews (36%) of the media sources that the magazine relied on in covering Nineva editorial issues, it was ranked first and with a percentage (30%) it was at the top of the media arts used in the topics of the Al-Mowahidah magazine as an example. The most important results obtained from the research are: Acceptance of news values in Iraqi satellite channels in al-Mowahidah  magazine in terms of security and politics, the interest of the news system in the security issue, informing the domestic and foreign audiences about the battles to clear the provinces from ISIS,the efforts of the security media to achieve several main goals, including comprehensiveness and sustainability and targeting all sections of society, creating public opinion towards security, increasing public interaction with security authorities, and controlling them. At the end, the most important recommendations were included: it is possible to create a science-based security information system with the management of specialists in this field, the activation of integrated communication as an expert in dealing with safety issues and training during a crisis, continuous training for people active in the field of safe media in various fields. As well as how to respond to crises and disasters, conducting future research on the role of security media in tracking security crises and evaluating their role, activating the media in confirming the concepts of community security and increasing individual responsibility and trust in security services are among these suggestions.
