Identity is one of the characteristics that characterizes society because it works to embody future ambitions and at the same time works on the emergence of milestones of development in the behavior of individuals and their achievements in various fields to include principles and values ​​that push man to achieve certain goals because of their importance in shaping the individual personality  Belonging is the feeling of these external factors, which is translated through actions characterized by loyalty to these societies to which they belong only and they work to preserve that identity, and that cultural identity is affected by the variables that  Among these variables, it is affected by the new media, which tries not to touch that cultural identity through its various types, including social networking sites and others, if this study dies and through the following question: What is the impact of the embryonic media on the cultural identity of a young man in Dhi Qar Governorate, which required allegiance  The study aims to use the descriptive approach, because the goal of this approach is to study a community or a study sample that includes the majority of the community  The aim is to describe the nature of the phenomenon, and many scientific research tools are used to collect information from the Maguin, such as the questionnaire.  And the most important findings of the research are in the following: that the new media contributed greatly to the collapse of the national cultural identity. The study also concluded that there is an impact of the new media on religious culture through the absence of the Islamic identity, and there is another taher of the media in general on culture represented by the dimensions of society from values  and inherited social customs, and it also had an impact on the family by rebellion of the children against the news under the pretext of culture and development.  The study recommends: Putting them in the various new media sites whose main task is to shed light on the popular heritage, spread Islamic culture, and highlight the beautiful, bright Islamic image that increases humanity’s goodness. Religious figures must be in the media in order to be able to combat the destructive ideas that kill the old, such as the phenomenon of atheism.
