Today, the issue of women and the observance of equal rights with men, which is referred to as “gender equality”, is one of the most important issues in the international community. In this regard, the United Nations, with the participation of some member states, held meetings and conferences and by concluding several treaties tried to encourage all countries to join the treaties and implement the ratifications of the conventions and pave the way for the implementation of equality. Provide gender in the world. On the other hand, the Islamic Republic, as a government of the basic religion, does not consider the equality of treaties enforceable, based on the perceptions that its rulers have of Islam. However, for the past three decades, among the two main intellectual and political factions in the Islamic Republic, namely the political Islamists, the jurisprudence that dominates Velayat-e-Faqih; Jurisprudence and the clergy as the main interpreters of the Shari’a are emphasized, and religious modernists who advocate a minimal interpretation of religion and the theory of readability of religious texts have expressed serious disagreements about women’s rights, and Aram Arm, has led to a deep rift between the two views.

The results of studies on the analysis of the views of four Muslim thinkers (Zibainejad, Bostan, Vasmaqi and Mehrizi) regarding women’s rights (alimony, employment, political participation) showed that although in the discussion of emphasizing the value and human status of women, Similarities can be shown, but at the same time, serious conflicts between these thinkers regarding women’s rights and duties cannot be ignored. Analysis of opinions and works showed that the first two thinkers are in the field of defenders of jurisprudential political Islamism and the other two thinkers are in the circle of supporters of religious modernism.
