Prophecy is a fact which lies within the essence of the messenger. What the apostle says as divine messenger comes from the revelation that lies in his soul. This revelation, which is in the essence of the prophets, has caused Allah to choose them for Prophecy. The study of the views and opinions of Shiite theologians, including Imamiyya, Zeydijah and Ismailis, reveal a great deal of disagreement over the prophetic prophecy and the status of prophets. This difference of opinions is not merely exclusive to the Shiite tendencies, but also among intellectuals, scholars, philosophers and Islamic sects. Each of these groups has expressed their opinions on this issue, relying on methods and means of understanding religious texts.

This research, based on an analytical-descriptive method, seeks to investigate and adapt the opinions of the scholars and theologians of the Twelvers and Ismailis on issues such as public prophecy, the position of divine prophets, revelation, attributes and characteristics of the prophets, and …. The most important results from the research are that the theologians and scholars of the Twelvers and Ismailis have a common view on some of the issues surrounding Prophecy. Including: sharing the view of the nature of the Prophecy, the infallibility of the prophets, the supremacy of Khatam al-Nabiīn against other prophets, the attributes of the prophets, the faith of all the prophets of God.

Of course, in the outstanding cases, there are also differences of opinion between the two theologians of the Imami and Ismaili sects and even among each of these religions. Among the most important differences of opinion are the following: the rank and position of the prophets with angels and other creatures, the way of transference of the revelation and the divine message to the apostles, disagreements on the number, prophets and prophets.
