Honoring one’s parents in light of the interest in the family system and its impact on human education, a Quranic vision

Honoring one’s parents is essentially benevolence or doing well. This shows honesty, obedience, goodness and benevolence to parents. Honesty means a righteous child who meets the needs of parents when they are weak or old; and it preserves the friendship, respect and promotion of the status and dignity of their parents. Family is defined as the core of society and according to its behavior, it plays a fundamental role in building a good or otherwise society.The purpose of this research is to show the methods that show respect for parents. Several components, including religious, moral, social, emotional, will be examined according to research variables such as gender, age, educational level of children and parents, as well as the social status of children, and it will be examined through the amount of positive interaction of children with respect for parents. Also, one of the goals is to determine the positive treatment of children who honor their parents. The last goal is to provide a set of media and programs that improve children’s behavior with their parents. The present study sheds light on the attention to the family through father, mother and the responsibility of the family and examines their other needs such as providing food and drinking needs and suitable housing for the family according to their ability. On the safe side, relying on the descriptive approach and the analytical approach and by expressing the variables of the research in a descriptive manner and expressing the scientific elements according to the data obtained from the children, analyzing these data as a scientific method with a phenomenological approach, as it deals with reality, we will deal with it. Descriptive approach describes the characteristics, characteristics and phenomena of the study, while the analytical method depends on the analysis and interpretation of the results of this research in terms of inference on the research hypotheses and objectives. The studied samples were collected from the people of the city of Nasiriyah, Iraq, and they were from the age groups between 12-40 years old, both men and women, married and single, and they were also randomly selected according to the education level of the parents .In this research, it was found that the relative percent of all patterns is between (78.4-82.2 percent) and these percentages are higher than the neutral relative weight (60 percent), and the researcher also made recommendations and suggestions about this study.
