This research has examined the book Firaq al-Shia Nobakhti as one of the oldest books of sectarianism, with a chronological method.
The chronological method is the arrangement of events in the context of history, which places the events in the order of their occurrence in a division, starting from the beginning.
According to this writing, the events in the form of a calendar started with the origin of the Prophet’s death and depicted until the end of the fourth century and a little after that.
The present study also used Dr. Mashkoor’s translation to complete the topics and considered all the chronicles and persons that the author Hasan bin Musa Nobakhti or the translator, in any way, have mentioned in the book, as a piece of history, and the contents has mentioned related to it.
In order to explain some events, analyzes are also included, according to the topic, and points worth pondering can be seen in them. Some periods of time in this collection, which are devoid of historical events, require a new opportunity for review and analysis.
From the results that can be used in this research, the following can be mentioned: the simultaneity of some currents or people at a certain time has clearly led to the peak or decline of a sect and Or, some sects have had ups and downs in different ages, some of these ups and downs have caused a new growth in it and have shown themselves in different ways, including its expansion, but sometimes the downfalls have led to the complete destruction of a sect.
