This research discusses a kind of problem for religious text by reading it in some modern curricula، many of which have recently emerged. Our research focused on understanding what doctrinal interpretation and hermeneutic philosophy are and their influence on religious text in relation to the question: (What is the impact of hermeneutic reading on religious text by describing it as a type of interpretative or hermeneutic reading because it is a form of polemical reading that occupies the Islamic and non-Islamic intellectual arena. (Quranic text، doctrinal interpretation، hermeneutic philosophy).According to the foregoing، our study has been divided into five chapters. Each chapter consisted of two main research topics and each research topic consisted of three claims، except for the third chapter، which comes with three topics:The first chapter was entitled “Generalities of Research”، where we open our course through the first research، which is “Totals”، by identifying what is the subject and what is the point we want to achieve from this study? This has made us directly confronted with the main question of this study: What is the effect of hermeneutic (philosophy) in reading the Quranic text and its compatibilities and differences with doctrinal interpretation? Reviewing the most prominent findings and the study methodology، then we moved to the second research topic (concepts)، where the study took us to the world of linguistics and the surficial and deep structure of the Quranic text. Then we resumed our journey in Chapter II to enter the world of interpretation and its types and the mind’s role in the doctrinal interpretation، examining the symbolism of the Qur’an and its explanatory schools such as (esoteric، Sufi، customary) and then we moved in the second research topic to another station (hermeneutics and its logic)، where we showed the foundations and rules adopted by the research، and the pre-hermeneutics and their impacts، tracking thereby the hermeneutic schools including (Classics، Romance، Philosophy). We then embarked stating hermeneutic reading of religious text by reviewing the most prominent theories of Islamists (Shabstri، Nasr Hamid Abu Zeid، Mohammed Arkun).Chapter III is entitled “Buildings and foundations for doctrinal interpretation”. We have outlined the rules on which this approach of interpretation is based، from the mental buildings of the theoretical، practical and demonstrative mind. In the second topic، we have outlined the curriculum and the mechanism for diligent interpretation and the indication of violators and concurrents، selected from the mechanisms used in the following research (context، appearance and subtopic text، multiple aspects of the Quran).Chapter IV was entitled “Hermeneutic Understanding”. In it، we outlined the linguistics understanding and the implications of precedential concepts and their role in the comprehension and interpretation of the text.Having worked with Hermeneutics in this study، we discussed hermeneutic applications on the Quranic text of both Shabstri Warcon and Nasr Hamid Abu Zeid. For the purpose of completing the general picture، the second research topic was entitled “A hermeneutic understanding of the role of the author in meaning and the corresponding role of the recipient in that، and what is the hermeneutic connection with philosophy?”. It also included an explanation of the meaning of the point of meaning that Shabstri spoke of، which we discussed until it came up with a new situation commensurate with its place in the text. The last chapter، chapter V is entitled “Conclusions and recommendations”. The most important findings have reached are explained in a clear and frank attempt to summarize our findings in the entirety of our study.Undoubtedly، although the previous studies differ in the general direction، they have represented an important key to the development of this study، for example: –

  1. Book entitled “Understanding Understanding”، Dr. Adel Mustafa، 2017.
  2. Book entitled “Hermeniotaqa Book and Sunnah” by Mohammed Mujtahid Shabstari، 2013.
  3. Master’s thesis entitled “The philosophy of interpretation in Paul Recor”، prepared by the researcher Seytov Sami، 2015.
