This research is concerned with studying the Qur’anic purposes of Allama al-Tabataba’i and Imam Makki bin Abi Talib, relying on the comparative method, and that the aim of the research is to elucidate the Qur’anic exegetical purposes about the Qur’an, Surat al-Baqarah and some of its verses. Al-Tabataba’i and Makki Al-Qaisi, explaining the purposes of the verses in Surat Al-Baqarah and some of its verses, giving a full conception of their interpretation, and clarifying the differences and similarities between them. The task and in conclusion between the researcher The most important results that the researcher came out with this research is that Al-Tabataba’i’s method of interpretation is based on his understanding of the Qur’anic verses as a principle and foundation, whether in the Holy Qur’an or in the honorable Sunnah and in the tradition of the Ahl al-Bayt, peace be upon them, because they represent the reality of the Qur’an and know what rules, principles and values ​​have been revealed to it. Al-Tabataba’i in his interpretation of the Noble Qur’an and the explanation of the Qur’anic purposes from it. As for Makki Al-Qaisi, he approached in his interpretation the approach of interpretation, O Al-Mathur, where he interpreted the Qur’an with the Qur’an and the Qur’an with the correct hadith, as it is considered in Arabic with great esteem because the Qur’an was revealed in the Arabic language and dragged on its course in the discourse, so he makes Arabic a fence and a framework for interpretation Where he denies from the Qur’an every interpretation that is not in harmony with the rules of Arabic and its conjugations, and he prefers from the interpretations what was more closely related to it and to its origins and rules.
