News review of the issues of the 2021 elections of the Iraqi Parliament, in the virtual press, analytical review on the websites (Al Jazeera Net, Al Arabiya and Al Sumaria News)

The purpose of this research is to know the importance of the sites of the studied society to the issue of the Iraqi parliamentary elections. Also, finding out the approaches of these sites regarding the Iraqi parliamentary elections and knowing the accuracy of the news coverage of the elections and identifying the information sources they rely on. And also the type of their news analysis in order to cover the elections. This research is a qualitative and descriptive research, because the descriptive method is considered the most appropriate method in media research. And it can provide great help to the researcher to describe and analyze the events accurately based on the content analysis method. In this research, the researcher used three news sites (Al-Sumriya Net, Al-Jazeera Net, Al-Arabiya) for research, and random samples were selected to obtain accurate results, which the researcher evaluated as the most suitable for this study, as For example, he chose (200) news titles from Al-Sumaria News, (100) topics from Al-Jazeera Net, and (200) topics from Al-Arabiya site. In completing the theoretical framework of the research and analysis of the content provided by the translated Arabic books, the research in the scientific journals, and the content analysis form, the researcher reached the following conclusions: awareness of the trends and scope of these sites’ handling of the issues of the Iraqi parliamentary elections. (2021), the way these sites dealt with the elections and reached the result in the content analysis in a scientific form of these materials was analyzed according to the questions (what was said and how was it said). In the research community analysis form, the researcher based on quantitative and qualitative analysis found the conclusion of all the studied sites. These sites used news more than news reports. It was also observed that the absence of news reports and narrations is well felt in all these sites. This shows that the sites are satisfied with the appearance of the news rather than dealing with the depth of the news. The sites (Al-Jazeera Net_Al-Sumaria News) use short news stories as news narrations or news reports in terms of news quality. It became clear to the researcher that these sites express the news headlines differently, but their relationship with the event itself is the same. Also, Al Jazeera Net uses the main and introductory titles in the first place, while Al Sumaria News places the main title only in the first place, and Al Arabiya Net uses the main title. The titles used in a topic were approximately close to each other among these sites. While studying these sites, the researcher realized that in all three sites (Al-Jazeera Net-Al-Sumriya News-Al-Arabiya) the lack of interest in the correct use of fluent Arabic was clearly visible. This situation is widely seen in the sites on the Internet. And if the status of Arabic language in the news is not favorable, then what will be the status of the rest of the news sections?
