Studying the relationship between the follow-up of the Hudhud channel and the social affiliation of its audience (a survey study on the city of Baghdad)

Hudhud TV was founded in 2010 and was broadcast in the Arabic language, but in 2011 the channel broadcast in the Persian language, and the religious channel was targeting children from 3 to 13 years old. One of the channel’s goals is to enhance the social affiliation of its audience by presenting programs to its viewers. Where this study included the main question, which is how is the relationship between Hodhud channel and the social affiliation of its audience? In addition, the study relied on two theories, the theory of uses and gratifications and the theory of cultural implantation, through which the sub-questions were identified, namely, what is the relationship between the follow-up of the Hodhod channel and the socialization of children? What is the relationship between watching Hudhud channel and the social relations of children? What is the relationship between watching Hudhud channel and building a personality and psychology for children? What is the relationship between watching Hudhud channel and promoting social values and morals for children? What is the relationship between watching Hudhud channel and legal education for children? What is the relationship between watching Hudhud channel and improving the religious life of children? Is there a statistically significant difference by nationality in the relationship between following the Hudhud channel and social affiliation? The researcher followed the survey method. Where the data was processed according to the equations through the statistical program spss. The most prominent findings of the researcher are the results, which helped the child’s hoopoe channel to be brave and not be ashamed in reading the speech in front of the audience, as well as the child’s knowledge of the correct religion and avoiding mistakes. The researcher made some important recommendations, including the need to pay attention to children’s channels in order to enhance the religious culture of children, and parents should monitor the programs that children watch and choose good channels.
